Entrevista a Maria Roda Linforth-Hall candidata latinoamericana al concejo de Southwark

Maria Rosa LInforth –Hall   Yo quiero trabajar por mi comunidad. Maria Rosa Linforth-Hall es la primera candidata latina al consejo de Southwark por   el partido Liberal Demócrata, para las elecciones locales que se realizaran en mayo del 2014. Esta es la segunda vez que la candidata de origen ecuatoriano se presenta   a estas elecciones, pero esta vez lo hace para el distrito de Catedral, que incluye las aéreas aledañas a las estaciones de Southwark, Borough, London Bridge y Elephant & Castle. Its a great honor to be here today celebrating the live of someone who was    practicing     community engagement   even long before the term became popular. When I first met   Thomas as he allowed us to call him was in   2006, by the time I went to SAVO looking for adv ice for our project CARNIVAL OF INDEPENDENCES, over a cup of tea this tall guy wearing   a bandana, sat next to us   and said “ Don’t worry we are here to   help you” and from that single   moment he became our adviser , interpreter and supporter   , he came with   us to different meetings   with Southwark Police and Events Team, and I remember him saying to us “don’t worry just listen and then just ask me back what you don’t understand”.   His easy going personality and   his warm   words    lasting forever. Also I was lucky enough to be with him in the   last SAVO’S TOUR and I remember clearly how   concerned   he was of not leaving anyone behind, and   just making sure that everyone was   looking the same way wh
